Didn't love it, but didn't hate it either. I'll continue to watch because it was entertaining enough.

I third this. i was slightly let down to be honest, but ill keep watching.

What kept Entourage going was Jeremy Piven/Ari Gold; unfortunately no character or actor is capable of his brilliance on Ballers.

Watched Ballers last night, here are my $0.02 ,

* liked the intro (+1)
* so, is the blond girl the sports agent was f*cking a LPGA golfer? if so, I have never seen an LPGA golfer with fake breast (-1)
* the club scene seemed a bit made up (-1)
* Rob Corddry's character is pretty funny (+1)
* Miami will be a nice back drop (+1)
* Miami head coach boat scene was well done (+1)
* The last scene was stupid...um you give some dude $300K, then you're surprised that you are out of money? (-3)

in the end, I'll watch a few more episodes.

Just watched this, HBO is going to have a rough time with ratings with a show that is meant for BET.

I'm gonna go ahead and stop you there and tell you this show is probably not for you and you probably shouldn't continue watching

sorry baw, I want some sort of realism in my shows...unless "Ballers" is supposed to be just a bunch of quasi soft core show, then sure, I'll give it three thumbs up.

I can already tell that this show is going to be entertaining, but not a show you want to wait week to week to watch. Would be a lot better watching at once.

A beautiful chick that they say is an LPGA player having big tits has nothing to do with "realism"

If you can't enjoy that scene for what it was, and that's all you can think about for that scene, then you just won't enjoy the show

Entourage had plenty of soft core scenes, but at least they fit into the narrative of the show. I enjoyed the scene, it just seems too fake. I mean, if I want o watch mindless f*cking, I'll head to some certain websites for a good 3 minutes.

The show is essentially about overpaid barely literate athletes making a series of bad life decisions. Remove the tata's and you remove any compelling reason to watch.

For me the subject matter works well as a documentary but not as a series.

Old enough to take a series for what it is.
