List starting line up. You can do batting order if you want.
And list weekend rotation, closer, etc...
I know it's super early and won't have better idea until fall ball but would like to hear from the people who follow closely

Rotation
Friday: Lange
Saturday: Poche
Sunday: Latz
Weekday: Norman Weekday 2: Whole Staff
Closer: Bugg
Setup: Newman
Long relief: McKay (could also start)
Other important arms: Reynolds, Bain, Stallings, Godfrey.
Starters
C: Pap
1B; Jordan
2B: Robertson
SS: Byrd
3B: Deich (if he can find his hitting stride this summer)
LF: Duplantis
CF: Fraley
RF: Jordan
DH: Zardon
The simple fact next season, our hitting will struggle, but our pitching will be among the best in the country. Fraley and Zardon will have to lead hitting next year. Hopefully a couple good freshman bats can emerge.

My understanding is that Deich has been moved to outfield.

Is it weird that I want a established Sunday stare AND a midweek starter? frick Johnny wholestaff.

I often disagree with some of your posts, but this ain't one of them.

McKay is a starter.
I actually think Latz will close
Just a total hunch/guess

Outfield- Fraley, Jordan brothers
Infield - lochridge, Diechmann, Byrd, zardon
Catcher - papierski
Pitching - insane!

I want an established midweek guy bit if we have two midweek games I don't care if we throw Johnny wholestaff in game two.
Having a 4th starter helps for the post season.

WWhich freshman could get starts next year. Position players not pitchers.

Makes sense. He's fast. And we're losing a lot of speed.
OF: Deichmann/Fraley/Jordan
3B: Zardon
SS: Lochridge
2B: Byrd
1B: Adams
C: Pap
DH: Ducote
P: please anything but Wholestaff

Trey dawson a SS turned down a 650k signing bonus and a chance to be a 3rd round pick to come here. He will probably be our best fielder at short. Some juco guys crushed the ball at Delgado last year but will have to adjust to sec baseball. All 3 have a shot at playing time. Duplantis is a fast outfielder so there is a chance he takes over center of CPM wants to keep Fraley in a corner. Lochridge has a lot of pop for a SS but may move to 3rd. Other than that there isn't many that will start especially not day 1.

So hard to tell right now. Summer leagues will shed some light on the returning players. Will Latz' arm recover? Will Godfrey master his control problems? These are the two biggest question marks for me. If either of those happen you have your third starter.
Norman and Bain are both solid mid-week guys. Hopefully with a little experience they will eliminate the occassional mistake pitches. Newman will continue in his short relief role. Does Stallings develop a reliable off speed pitch? If so, there's your closer. I bet he does. Again, summer ball will tell a lot. Look for Stallings' assignment. Dunn will probably put him with a coach who can develop his change.
As to the new guys, I don't know, but hopefully we uncover another great one.

Where did you hear this? I think he is playing IF in his summer league and that's usually where you start learning a new position

I'm just learning about the new guys, so thanks for the insight.
I like Fraley, but not in centerfield. I'm glad to hear we have some speed coming in. Can Duplantis and Dawson hit? Glad to hear about Lochridge. I do not want to see Zardon at third again.

Both are athletes and good defenders. Whether they can hit or not we will have to wait till fall ball to find out. I'm sure both were really good in high school but you never know how they make the jump
Posted on 6/19/15 at 8:31 am to Tigerfan_95
What kind of range will Byrd have at SS? Is this is natural position? I think Fraley will have a hell of a year next year.

I don't think Byrd is our SS. He has second base written all over him in my opinion.
