If you are going from an ultra book to a 2 in 1, I believe you will love the transition...

I'm going from a full keyboard laptop and 17" screen and the transition isn't easy for me. I like the all in one but I still use my 6yr old laptop for most of my work.

That's why I view the 2-in-1 as a "third" (or fourth - if you count the smartphone) computer. I would still travel with a desktop replacement laptop and use the 2-in-1 as a revved up tablet - I've been using desktop replacements since they were invented. Having a full size keyboard, number pad and 17" screen aren't optional for me. But having the 2-in-1 will be better than nothing. I just can't justify the cost. I do not use a tablet - I'm not a tablet person, I suppose.
