I have been texting and calling everyone I know that has been waiting the last decade like me for this game. I'm so fricking excited. I've never been this excited for a game.

The problem is it will be 2 years before it's here. They should have been working on it and then dropped a release date of Christmas 2015.
I hope it isnt delayed like almost every other FF game. I am going to expect a 2018 realistic date.

I LOVED Final Fantasy VII and it was the game that got me into RPGs. That being said, it's just a remake. We all know the story and all of the twists. It's the same game with updated graphics. I don't see why people are like "OMGZZ THIS IS BETTER THAN FALLOUT 4!!!"

I think you miss the point of games entirely. Not every game needs to reinvent the wheel, and I'm glad that I haven't seen the word 'innovative' thrown around like confetti this year - devs are showing games people just want to play, and that's the way it should be.

Would have been "meh" over it as well. Ocarina of Time is my favorite game of all time and even when it was remade I wasn't that enthused over it. It's the same game and story.
