Maybe it's been discussed here before, but his bro has down syndrome. The piece was outstanding to see. Puts LSU's loss in perspective.

Man I'm sorry. Wish I knew how. It just aired on the 10:00 pm news.

His mom lived down the street from me and we went to school all the way through graduation. She was the STM homecoming queen and his dad the football star. (RB)
Both are the nicest and most humble people you will ever meet and have an outstanding family structure. I saw them both about a year ago. She never talked about Andrew and wanted to talk about his older brother's new baby. Willie (his dad) said "Andrew loved his time at LSU and playing for Manieri". Great familY

I've met Matt before and see him around Lafayette a lot. He is a great kid and is always fun, happy, energetic, and full of life. I can tell you that Matt is a huge LSU fan and loves his brother. It is very rare that you get through a conversation with Matt without him bringing up Andrew. The whole Stevenson family is amazing. I hope someone can find the piece and post it on here, Matt really has a way about bringing a smile to your face.

Andrew's Mom was my math teacher and quite possibly my favorite teacher from high school. She was the nicest lady. Went to high school with his aunt who is a teacher now.
I babysat both Will and Andrew before the Stevenson's had Matthew and I baby sat his cousin. That whole family is full of class.

My guess is because the lack of a link... Not because of the story...

I didn't see it, but here's a story from a couple year's back on their relationship.
I've seen Matt (his brother) at games this year. He's got some good dance moves and gets his area going in the middle of games. I saw once this year when the entire LSU dugout was watching him dance and cheering - all while the game was going on.

A local tv on-air story usually takes several days to show up on their website, if at all.
WBRZ
Use their search function, the red magnifying glass on the right side of the tool bar.
It might help if someone contacts the station and asks for that story to be posted online.

My nephews go to school with the younger brothers and hang out with them all the time. Met their dad (and Matt) a few times out at the little league park. Great people!

Wish I could have said I agreed w/reason for down vote, but I'm telling you, there's some black hearted folks up in here.
I had an idea couple of nights ago. I think chicken should ad a feature called down vote roulette, whereby 1
out of every, say 30, down votes - completely at random - automatically start a new thread.
Here's how it would work.
Poster starts thread.
"Describe for us the time you truly saw a miracle."
Usual shite follows........
Poster 1: last time I looked in mirror.
Poster 41: Anthony Jennings completed bpass downide
So forth / so on. Finally, someone tells a really heart warming story that mentions their 9 year olds birthday party. Ya know, that 9 year old that 9 year old was fixed 6 months to live about 2 years ago.
Then, invariably, someone. Down votes it.
Then, BOOM. New auto thread starts.
Posted by Chicken: Poster named "shitforbreath" is down vote roulette winner, as he down voted thread titled "last miracle seen", pg 3, post by "tiger fan", 8th post down."
I realize that the anonymity gives folks courage, but the chance of accountability may give folks somewhat of a brain, or at least act as a filter of stupidity or assholery.
