starting poche was the correct decision
You my friend have to be a blood relative of Coach Pulmonary who can't breathe or think in the high altitude of Omaha

How would you have felt when poche lost to vandy?

I agree. It's frustrating when you play 67 games to get to Omaha and then your season is decided by one or two games. And those games are decided by one or two critical innings.
LSU is still the program in college baseball. It's frustrating at times but it's baseball. To win 6 national titles in a span of 24 seasons is still the envy of cbb.
It's not maineri's fault. I think these players have a lot of pressure on them. Highest national seed and a lot if expectations from fans. Getting to Omaha 17 times in 30 seasons is remarkable ! Winning more regular season games over the past five seasons than anyone else is an accomplishment too. Hopefully, soon , the program can find a way to strike gold again in Omaha .

Holy shite we gotta a fortune teller here. Poche can't take pressure and Pulmonary should have known that despite Poche's last two good outings.
Pulmonary needs oxygen when he goes to Omaha - it's that simple

You are right LSU was doing great until Poche thought he saw Shaquille playing first base then turned da' horny frogs into Princes!!!

It was the correct decision because you don't want Poche pitching in the loser's bracket.

The point is, you play your best player at every positions every game in an effort not to go AT ALL into the losers bracket!

no-one was questioning the decision of starting Poche till after he gave up 6 runs
but everyone is questioning why Poche was left in, he was having a nervous breakdown on the mound, everyone but the head coach saw it.

Agree. I just don't understand after the bad inning he had in the fourth and then walk a guy to start the fifth do u not have someone in the bullpen ready.

I agree. The only question to me becomes why leave him in as long as they did. Not the decision to start.

Poche' needs anti-anxiety meds and Pulmonary portable oxygen and we will be fine all the time !!

Seriously if you look at Pulmonary at the post game interview I believe he just got too much sun .................. needs to carry an umbrella like Benson and save his neurons for the benefit of players and fans that drove/ traveled hundreds of miles and $$$$$ to see championship baseball.

No problem with Poche starting, but Paul insists on leaving him in for lefty on lefty was just dumb

It really doesn't matter who is out there if you can't score.
Should we have burned Lange today, scored one run for him and lost the game 2-1 in extras?
EGG. frickING. ZACKTLY.

Yep, and Lange would not have done that.
Prove it....

Which just happen to be the reason he was started. Experience + lefty vs heavy lefty lineup.... not hard to understand why he went with Poche....

If he believes so strongly in lefty vs lefty, why did he not make the change when Conrad came in to pinch hit in Game 1 of the SR?
Dude tried to outsmart the game. You come from the top down in your rotation. This isn't a regional, it's a 4 team tournament in freakin Omaha.
