Jealous.
I guess I just give off that "I hate you" vibe.

Went to visit a friend in Aspen once, and it turned out to be gay week. Got hit on a bit, but I'm not so insecure that I would let it bother me.

"Not interested, I'm straight"
Multiple times. Not an issue unless you're a homophobe. Quit being such a faghot about it.

This.
FTR, every time it's happened to me (3x), it's happened in New Orleans.

I was on Bourbon Street with my Wife over 20 years ago on Halloween night. Three gay guys passed us and one said to me "why don't you drop that bitch and come with us." I laughed, but my Wife was pissed.

More times than I can count.
The most memorable though was when I was a freshman in college and my good friend's uncle, who is gay, had some kind of a wedding thing up in Grapevine (in Dallas) and one of their friends hit on me. Everyone was sloshed and he offered me $300 and a pair of Burberry sunglasses to make out with me.
I laughed it off.
But did I think about it? Probably a bit longer than I'd like to admit.

This is the most Nola answer I've seen on these boards.
I can't count how many times I've been bar hopping with a group of women in the quarter, to have then eventually drag me into a gay bar. Nothing crazy like Oz or anything.I had petite ask if I was gay and offered drinks. But once I told them I'm straight, they left me alone.
I will say, I have a friend who dressed metro, who me and others thought might be in the closet. He's told me of stories where he gets posters and won't get left alone. But I can only imagine how strongly those dudes' gaydar was going off, and they figured he was lying to himself. And if I were in his shoes, that would piss me off.
But as a straight guy with lots for artist and musician friends, I've never had a problem out been made to fell uncomfortable.

That's pretty damn funny.

Yep, a couple of times. Pissed me off.
I see how some can take that as a compliment but I didn't. I saw it as they trying to put something in me that don't belong. I made a promise to myself that I'm going to punch the next dude that hits on my in the throat.

Bump.
First night ever bartending last night, dude comes in and starts buying partron for him and another in the bar. Tipping like crazy and was in there for hours. He starts getting belligerent and ends up "propositioning" me in so many words that I could barely understand. But the implication was there.
I still hadn't processed what had happened and he left and then came back a couple hours later and started buying everyone else shots (we started giving him fake liquor) and then in a much more obvious way does it to another guy that comes in there so we had to eventually just kick him out
What a great start to my bartending career
