I only go to the Dome if I'm invited to a suite. I can't handle the lines for everything. But, I'm glad people can handle it and keep the dome packed.

Honestly, I just love being there on a Sunday afternoon/night/Monday night. There's nothing like it. It's special. Especially when you own season tix and sit in the same seats every game every year. You get to know the people around you. Eventually it becomes like watching every Saints game with thousands of your closest friends.

I understand the sentiments about comfort at home, great camera angles, food and beer, cost. But I just hate turning on the TV and seeing a game at the dome and not being there. That's just me.

I go because I have been doing it every year since I was six years old. I cannot imagine not having season tickets. I do more than just go to the game. If its preseason I have a pregame drink and fancy dinner at a local restaurant...I actually like the preseason for this reason. During the year I do one brunch. I did emerils after a game last season and found a new tradition.

At the game I love getting loud and jacked up. I like the culture of socializing with fans from all societal classes its fun.

What I don't like, and I let the saints have it in my annual survey, is them feeling that they need to provide constant entertainment. My seats are in the upper box and I cannot have a conversation with my guest during time outs. I let the saints know to please kill the tornado siren, and its perfectly ok for the natural progression of the game to dictate crowd interest....you don't need to pipe in music every frickin timeout or down. Its annoying. I also asked to have them bring back the brass band a pipe them in like it was in the 80s. Have them play a half dozen songs during the game and we have a unique and traditional atmosphere.

The annoyance of the dome music and constant commercials is what would have me cancel one day. Again, I cannot even have a conversation with my guest druing timeouts or commerical breaks.
