Hungover in the middle of drinking?

BIL came into town Friday night and he was on a mission. By about 830 fri nite I felt like crap. Has anyone ever felt like they got a hangover while in the middle of drinking? I guess I should have drank more water?

Top 3 guesses:
1) sugary drinks, he was probably just feeling diabetic.
2) shitty booze. You aren't 19 any more. That stuff hurts.
3) not drinking fast enough. If you are sobering up, even if still drinking, you will fee the after effects.

I've only experienced this when I start day drinking and slack off toward the evening. If you drink fast enough you shouldn't experience a headache.

Day drinking before 10 starts to get rough around midnight. Unless you're like me and like to be absolutely shitfaced by then
