That's certainly possible.

I try to avoid reading to much into implied political messages from movies (facially nonpolitical movies). That said, it is interesting that Bird's two Disney movies (The Incredibles and Tomorrowland) seem to have a decidedly anti-liberal message.

Bird is from Kalispell Montana, he probably has very traditional views.
