goldnugget, what do you consider a reasonable rent for a 1 bedroom?

I am paying $600 where I live now for a nice 1 BR at 850 square feet

I am guessing I will be paying at least double that, if not more, for a 1 bedroom that is smaller than 850 square feet

I had a 750 sq ft apartment smack dab in Fremont for about $1050/month and it included water, trash, sewage, etc.

It's really not that bad, but is definitely more than BR. One thing though is you are getting back 6% on your income tax since like Texas, Washington state doesn't have income tax.

That's the nature of the radio and TV industry. Your goal is to move up to a bigger market regardless of location

Ok that makes sense now. If a bigger market job opens up I guess you have to jump on it.

I'd imagine your salary would be bumped to account for the cost of living...

You'll have to get one of these.

And embrace the new trend
