I love a lot of their music, even though it's trying too hard at times to be dark.
Glenny is a unique front man, but I just do not think I would personally like him (not the first). I have never seen a Danzig show. Anyone seen one?

Weird. Everything I've read over the years went to great lengths to paint Danzig as one of the nicest guys in metal.

I was a huge Misfits fan growing up, even have a super trashy Misfits tattoo. Danzig has always been a bitch.

Agreed. He and Ian Astbury (The Cult) both sound very similar to Morrison.

I've heard a lot of stories about what an a-hole he is, but I do have one anecdotal example to the contrary. Some good friends of mine saw him back in the late 90s. They went about back to the loading dock area and saw him just sitting around. They smoked a joint with him and shot the shite with him for almost an hour while the crew loaded the gear. They said he was super cool and amiable and was very gracious to them.
Guess some people aren't always dickheads, even though you have to admit he hasn't gotten that reputation for nothing.

In 2004, I was once mistaken for Marilyn Manson at scarlet's on bourbon street. I figured out what was going on, played it up and got free drinks and private dances.
