There is no one on that staff who UNCW can count on to go out and shite LSU down for 4-5 innings. Now can one of those guys go out and throw a gem absolutely.

LSU needs to be patient at the plate. Work the count and force their pitchers to throw strikes. Our hitters must avoid what happened to us against Stoney Brook a few years ago, where they were chasing a lot of balls out of the zone and giving their pitchers a lot of easy outs. If the pitcher doesn't have great stuff, don't make his job easier by chasing balls out of the zone.

We did the same thing against UCLA in the CWS when we couldn't lay off the high fast ball.
