broadway is just the touristy place. i avoid it unless i just cant help it but after the convention center gobbled up the entire downtown the quality of the entertainment has gone way up.

trendy coffeeshops, pinewood social, the hotel across from the convention center, etc. are all amazing.

just be aware that you cant buy a mixed drink for less than $10-$12 downtown.

I love that place. But that isn't technically downtown is it? I was pretty toasty, but I remember it being in a warehouse type area close by.
