Michael Davies said in the most recent MIB podcast that he's heard serious rumblings that if things at FIFA don't change drastically from now to Russia 2018, that England and probably the USA, would boycott the World Cup. It sounds crazy, but he seemed really confident about it. He said England were more likely of the two, but that we would probably follow suit. Along with our sponsorship dough.

BTW it's not like this guy is a clown or anything. Davies is a very powerful dude behind the scenes. Producing/creating tv shows, etc. I want to say he was one of the guys that created who wants to be a millionaire, and then brought it to America. Anyway, he knows people.

Could/Would this ever really be a possibility?

Davo may know people because he's pretty powerful in the TV industry (see MIB actually getting a show). If England boycotts it'd be because UEFA, or a large chunk of UEFA, is boycotting. No one will sit at home by choice when everyone else on Earth is there. It does nothing for the cause.

We need a lot of changes before then, though, or it'll be a shitshow.
