There is no if about it. The Supreme Court has said flag burning is covered by the first amendment.

In case you need a refresher, the first amendment protects your speech from the Government not other assholes who wish to do you harm.

That's the point. Flag burning is constitutionally protected by the first amendment. There are many things that you have a "constitutional right to do without the threat of violence" that are still really fricking stupid.

This accomplishes nothing.
