Soooo glad I live no where near the ICCP

I just checked where it's at....it's in an area of the west side where the trashy and poor live at. Glad I'm not working tonight though....I bet our ER will be busy because of this.

Do they? The majority of Muslims would tell you that their religion does not encourage violence to those nonbelievers or those of a different religion

I understand radical Islam is a HUGE problem. And I hate it with a passion. But that doesn't make what these people are doing "right" or any less stupid just because they have a right to do it.

Why shouldn't they? Because you think it's a bad idea? Nobody is making you attend... you'll be safe.

Cute little cartoon, none of the extreme statements are calling for action OUTSIDE the law. All of the statements are asking for changes to the law or help from....a little different than what is being talked about in this thread.

The majority of prisoners would tell you that they didn't commit whatever crime put them there... I trust them about as much as I trust a Muslim.

Not one person has given a legitimate reason why these people aren't allowed to do what they plan on doing other than "it's dickish" or "they're assholes".

That's because no one here has said that they aren't allowed or can't or are violating any laws. Not one person has made that statement.

The statement being made is maybe it's not a great idea to do it, or they shouldn't do it, or they're just doing it because they're dicks.

People have the right to peaceably assemble. I don't think this group really wants there to be violence, but they're certainly setting the stage for it. Obviously it was a mistake for me to introduce the hypothetical possibility that a gathering of gun bearing people engaging in an activity that is known to incite violence, may turn violent.

Is it illegal to piss off Muslims now?

I don't believe anyone in this thread has said it is or should be illegal. Everyone has been in agreement that it's their right.

Well I for one hope they go through with it... and I hope some Muslims show up with guns and they die like the last two. Then we can all gather here again and discuss how brilliantly the plan worked.

With AZ's gun laws...better believe people will be packing. You can conceal carry here at most places.

What's asinine is defending a group of people that would only love to see you submit to their beliefs or die.

Not defending them. Want to be smarter about defeating them. Fight them in ways that are unlikely to lead to more of them.

You must have missed the post about them being "penalized to the fullest extent of the law"?

So IF Muslims caused a violent reaction the rally goers should be penalized to the fullest extent of the law?

Just trying to make sure I "get it" this time.

it.

The Koran preaches much violence against non-Muslims and according to a recent Pew poll huge numbers (a sizable minority) of Muslims support violence.

Well, if they are protected by stand your ground laws then punishment to the fullest extent of the law would be zero, wouldn't it?

I have read the Koran, Sira, and Hadith... I know exactly what they teach to the poor innocent Muslims.

for the same reason Westboro Baptist Church shouldn't be going to people's funerals to chant God Hates figs and that's why your loved one is dead.
