Had some the other day at a tasting, taste dead on like root beer. Think Abita root Beer but alcoholic. Will be a very limited release until around August.

I really enjoyed the couple bottles I had, as did the wife. It is very sweet, but like you said, tastes like root beer.

I have someone bringing me some beer up from Fl tomorrow that is not available in Ga. Getting some Jai Alai and was thinking about getting some of this as well.

As a kid, I always wanted beer to end up tasting like root beer when I got old enough to drink it.

This is a dream come true.

Y'all think we can just mix vodka and abita root beer and get a similar flavor profile?

They also make a 10% version in bombers and a 20% on draft.

It isn't quite as sweet as Abita and has a slight hint of booziness. Good stuff. They serve it up at my local pizza pub.

It definitely isn't 10%. I think the 5.7% is correct.

There are multiple versions. 5.9% in 6-packs, as well as a 10.7% and 19.5% versions that are bombers/draft only.
