Did not know that. So is Royal Canin considered their "premium" brand?

I'm not sure, but I wouldn't consider anything made by Hills "premium"

Plus every time I go to a Vet clinic, whether in New Orleans or Baton Rouge, Royal Canin is prominent.
Vets get a cut on certain foods they sell or push.

Are you sure about that?

Royal Canin brand dog food formulas are manufactured by Royal Canin, Inc. Royal Canin was founded by a veterinary surgeon in 1967. The surgeon’s name was Jean Cathary. The current headquarters of Royal Canin are located in Aimargues, France.

I would say so yes.
Im not saying RC is a crap food. Just saying there is better options out there for your dog since you mentioned changing foods.
Keep us posted to the outcome from the vet visit.

What is the prognosis? Leave her be due to her age?
no we had the tumor removed.
Vet says she thinks she got at least 99% of it out.
Her bladder is 25% smaller now but she is healthy and comfortable.

No. Hills makes Science Diet and Prescription Diet. Not Royal Canin.

Probably just a bladder infection. My lab had one before with those symptoms. Hopefully they get her on the mend and she's back at it in no time.

Precious!!! Increased frequency and blood most likely urinary tract infection. Take pup to vet to prevent complications ASAP.

Your pup looks very similar to the one used in a fark with a humans face
wish i could find it
good luck with the pup

They make a profit from marking it up and that's it (and it's not very much). You expect them to sell it at cost?

You are right. I thought they were both made by Hills. My previous statement remains the same, its still crap

Hell yes, I also expect vaccines at cost and you should bathe and trim nails for free on every visit dammit.

Someone has probably already said this, but it's most definitely a UTI. I actually just went through this with my puppy.
The vet gave her some antibiotics and a food that reduces the granules in their urine. It cleared up completely in 3-4 days max. I was terrified at first, but I learned it's pretty common in young female puppies and not a big deal.

Probably has juvenile vaginitis. Very common for puppies to get. Uroliths and UTIs are not common for a puppy to get.
