Tracy McGrady could be a good SG because he's not HOF bound.

PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobili (HOF?)
SF - Bruce Bowen
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Tiago Splitter
Tough Guy - Steven Jackson
Guard - Patty Mills
Big - Robert Horry
All of these guys have experience winning the Finals. 4/5 starters won a Finals game 7. Plus team chemistry is already there, which would be needed in a Game 7

They were crucial to a combined 3 championships. I believe they both played in a finals game 7 fwiw.

I think Billups might be another good option at point.
shite, my team would be the '04-'06 Pistons, with Jordan and Duncan bumping Hamilton and Ben Wallace to the bench.
Ben Wallace being my tough guy. My third bench guy would need to be a guy who can score with the ball in his hands, so I'd go with a guy like Sprewell.
ETA: Yes, I know the Pistons lost a Game 7 on the road.

Yes, but i was told Jordan won all his titles by himself, and they ain't Jordan. Argument invalidated.

tough guy: z-bo
If he can finish out his contract averaging a double double, he would have averaged 16+ PPG and 10+ REB for 17 years. He should be a lock if that happens
He's a borderline HOF guy right now...so I don't know if thia selection works

They also beat an arguably Better Miami team at AAA in game 7 of the ECF to advance.
The Pistons and Spurs were tied up going into the fourth quarter of game 7. I just remember them not being able to hit a shot for their life in that quarter.
If they win that game, I think they would have been remembered differently.

5 time all star; there isn't a finals MVP that hasn't become HOFer as well
Posted on 5/27/15 at 1:05 am to Lester Earl
First player to win the finals mvp without an all-star game appearance

So do lots of players, doesn't make you HOF worthy. NFL HOF has turned into the Hall of Above Average. would rather NBA kept some sort of standard like MLB still does.
Posted on 5/27/15 at 1:14 am to Rich Kotite
NBA has the lowest standards of them all. And winning a championship has always given you a big boost. Usually propels fringe guys.

NBA champion (2004)
NBA Finals MVP (2004)
5× NBA All-Star (2006–2010)
All-NBA Second Team (2006)
2× All-NBA Third Team (2007, 2009)
2× NBA All-Defensive Second Team (2005–2006)
As the leader of a team that made the EC finals for 6 years in a row. I think he has a decent, but not great chance.

I'm pretty sure they had close to a double-digit lead in the 3rd quarter.

I will admit my ignorance on this subject, seems to me the easiest game to play right out the box should be a little bit more selective as to its HOF.
