Garnett was past his prime by then and Lebron absolutely did not defeat the Pistons the year after they won a championship.

MVP Rose was the only healthy Rose that Lebron ever faced, and let's be honest, he didn't deserve that award. People voted against Lebron because they were still bitter about The Decision.

I don't recall Lebron ever defeating Dwight's Magic, either.

Sorry. Lebron beat the Pistons two years after winning an NBA championship, not one. Such a huge difference And the Celtics were coming off a game 7 loss in the NBA finals when Bron beat them the first time in the playoffs Look dude, you talked out your arse. Don't double down on it

Eta: that Pistons team was also coming off an NBA finals loss

Uh no, the Pistons won it all in 2004 and the Heat won it in 2006. Lebron beat Detroit in 2007, at the tail end of their run. Next time you want to be a smartass for no reason, at least make sure you're correct first.

Once again, Boston was full of players who were past their prime when Lebron (and Wade and Bosh) finally beat them - which was my entire point in the first place.

Peeeej, I gave a huge shout out to your boy Oscar Robertson

And other douche, you call me a smartass when you are the one saying the celtics were over the hill when they were coming off a Game 7 loss in the NBA finals....

MJ was 50-32. Lebron is 48-34

That doesn't count for the quality opponent Jordan faced.

Lebron played a good Pistons team and only faced the Celtics in their prime twice. Jordan had to deal with several elite teams in the East...

So here is the over the hill Pistons Lebron beat

54-28 NBA champs
54-28. Lose in NBA finals in 7 games
64-18 lose in conference finals to eventual champ heat
53-29 lose to Bron
59-23 lose in conference finals

Clearly over the hill when bron played them

Over the hill celtics

66-16 win NBA championship
62-20 lose 2nd round
50-32 lose in Game 7 NBA finals
56-26 lose to Bron

Clearly over the hill too

And the Bulls were clearly over the hill in Rose mvp year. I mean rose was like 23. Way over the hill
