And Pairing with the Houston regional might not have been my first choice but based on location it definitely is not bad. Overall it is a pretty good pairing. I am just glad we did not get Texas A&M because of their distance they would have been another option to pair us with. I definitely wouldn't want Vanderbilt,Texas A&M,or Florida State. Based on location the Dallas Baptist would have been the other regional I wouldn't have minded.

And even more importantly is we got a good 2 seed. I would rather UNC-W over Ole Miss or Rice. I wouldn't want NC State or Iowa either but am really, really glad we didn't get CofCharleston or Arkansas!! Overall I think we got a pretty good path. Now we just got to play to our potential and take nothing for granted and we should be in Omaha

I tend to agree with you; however, remember UNCW beat CofCharleston in their conference tournament final several days ago. Just a little worried that UNCW is peaking at the right time and will give us some challenges after they beat Tulane.

They don't pair #1 Regional seeds from the same conference against each other.

The only potential all-SEC SR matchup I saw was a possible Auburn-Florida matchup. But Auburn is a 3 seed.
