Can you name a team in the history of college baseball that was on their "A" game every single time they hit the diamond? Can you name a player that never slumped, never went 0-fer, never pitched a bad game, never made a base running error?
That's baseball, not inconsistency. I'm not pumping sunshine, I'm really pissed any time we lose, but it will happen from time to time. The rankings say LSU has been the most consistent team in college baseball this season. This team is far from perfect, but the last thing I would call them is inconsistent

Inconsistent teams are not ranked first in nation in regular season. The bats were quiet, FL had good pitching, a great game to watch. Put the blame on no one - LSU lost a close game. Teams lose from time to time.
