I knew what I was volunteering for when I joined up, it's really awkward for someone to thank me. It's kinda like, I signed up to better myself and to serve a nation that has given me so much opportunity wise.. No one really does shite for mom, freedom, or apple pie.. You just do it because it's your job..

My coworker was offended because when he ran a stop sign he still got a ticket even after the policeman saw his "Gulf War Veteran" license plate cover.
