There's tons of persecution on this website for Christians. I've been laughed at repeatedly and told my beliefs are made up fairy tales, and that I'm dumb and simple minded for believing in them. It's way more than just "teasing".
When I try to explain why I believe what I believe, people either just laugh or say "why don't you worship the Easter bunny".
In the world today, I don't understand why Muslims are sacred, but Christians are free game that anyone can put down.
I have thick skin, so I don't lose any sleep what other people think of me on here, but Christians in general aren't treated well on this site. Hence why religion threads are usually whacked.

Wow. From being fed to lions to being laughed at. "Persecution" apparently is a very, very broad term.

I agree that Christians arent' treated well here or in the real world. But, I wouldn't go so far as to say it's persecution when people are literally dying and getting their heads cut off in other countries.
