For players to get ejected, you have to be a real shite head, and I just don't think what Harper did qualifies. Toss the manager, nobody cares, and you get your point across.

Do you think he did anything other than step out of the box?
Harper and the umpire were going back and forth after the pitch while he was still in the box. That was clearly shown. The umpire then made the situation worse by drawing attention to everything, taking off his mask, yelling back at the dugout. He should have just tossed Williams there and been done with it, so he definitely takes a lot of blame.
From there he told Harper to get back in the box, Harper was Harper, and there it is.
