Is this week a team challenge so I know to just skip the episode? Or at least the first 30 minutes?
It is a team challenge with Stephen and Shelley as the captain's. It will be in Vegas with some male strippers there. NOT going to be my favorite episode to say the least.

Week 4:
Dan unexpectedly left the show at his request to open the show. Shelly and Stephen were team captain's for the team competition. Stephens team who consisted of Charlie, Jesse, Sara, Olivia, Tommy, Carey, and Nick cooked the Lobster for 101 Las Vegas Entertainers while Shelly's team cooked the Chicken Tenders. She elected to cook the tenders in a rolled fashion that was extremely difficult in a 60 minute time frame. At the end of the challenge, the team that won was Stephens team. Of the 8 team members of Shelly's team, 4 members selected by Shelly went upstairs (Hetal, Kerry, Katrina, and Veronica as well as Shelly) and were deemed safe from elimination in the Steak Cook-off judged by G Ramsey. The cooks who had to cook in the cook-off were actually the contestants that did most of the work in the earlier challenge. Claudia, Derrick, Christopher, and Ailsa had to cook a sirloin medium rare and the best two cooks would go upstairs leaving the other two for a Filet Mignon cook-off. Derrick nailed the sirloin and Claudia came in second. Ailsa and Christopher faced off and Ailsa lost and was sent home.

Jesse was elimated tonight. I do not think it was the food as much as the disagreement with Gordon Ramsey.

Yeah the Indian chick clearly should have been gone.

You could clearly tell there was more going on between Ramsey and him than was shown.
Still, great job by Jesse.

I agree, hopefully Jesse will share those comments at the end of the season. The Indian girls cooking.was clearly the worst dish but that was not the way it was judged.

Pretty sure they weren't a fan of him wanting it to be based on cooking skills and not drama.

Herbal should have gone, but It appeared to be a close call based on the reaction to Jesse's dish. I agree that there appeared to be more to the exchange between Jesse and Ramsey.
As soon as I heard venison, I was worried.

Week 5: Definitely not what I expected or even close to what I wanted. The mystery box challenge was a breakfast meal in which Derrick the Drummer excelled. Jesse and Veronica were eliminated in the end with Jesse cooking venison and having a small argument with Gordon Ramsey. The argument is probably what did him in as Hetal's dish overtook Jesse's and Veronica's dish. Not their best episode.

I keep thinking about Hetal's dish and it was awful looking and awful by description. Doesn't make sense that Jesse went home before her. I can't deny that his dish was likely a bottom 3.

Damn. So Louisiana boys out back to back.

Jesse got screwed. It's cast a pall over this season as far as I'm concerned.

I love Charlie, but that cake was hysterical.

Anyone still watching?
Female judge still can't talk.
I still think that Stephen is Heston Blumenthal.

They definitely resemble each other:
Blumenthal
Stephen
Blumenthal

They finally got it right this week. The chick was the worst, she hurt every team she was on, killing them on 2 occasions with her stupidity.
The chicken and waffles just exposed how bad she was, and it was her bread n butter dish(she admitted).
Reminds me of the fat chick from last year who couldnt bake, but was a baker. she stayed on, with horrible dishes, week after week.
The Guy with beard, from La, was the worst screw job by judges.
