SIAP
The next movie will be called Mad Max: The Wasteland. I'm excited. I absolutely loved Fury Road and I can't wait for these movies to come out.
Also, here's a podcast with George Miller (some minor spoilers):

Director George Miller has revealed that the follow-up to Mad Max: Fury Road will be titled Mad Max: The Wasteland.
“We’ve got one screenplay and a novella. It happened because with the delays [on Fury Road], and writing all the backstories, they just expanded,” Miller said while explaining how he ended up with a fully mapped out Mad Max trilogy before the first film released, on The Q&A with Jeff Goldsmith.
The title is interesting because The Wasteland is the name of the world in which the Mad Max films take place. What that means for the plot remains to be seen.
Mad Max: Fury Road is now playing in theaters.

I need to see the new Mad Max. Looks like loads of fun. I can't help but wonder how his Justice League film would have been if not for the strike back in 08 or so. I loved the script(read it online) and it was an adaptation of the whole Max Lord/Brother Eye storyline.

Where does this one come in line with the Mel Gibson ones? Is this a continuation, reboot, something else?

Jay Baruchel was playing it nerdy, had an empire of Kingdom Come restaurants that were featured as a plot to infect the world with some sort of virus and that he was obsessed with the superheroes.
Ultimately, however, even Miller accepts that it was probably for the best that the movie saw the light of day. He continued:
It was very faithful to the comics at the time, very DCU. Ultimately I think its good that it didn’t come out as there were some parts that were cool that they got right and there were some things that people were going to hate. Some of it was very aimed at kids.
I don't know....that sounds pretty shitty

There were elements that were pretty outlandish but I remember the action scenes being pretty exciting, big behemoth fights, etc. I'm probably cherry picking my memory because of that, but probably a good idea that it never got made as it would have interfered greatly with DC/Warners new slate. George Miller is undeniably a GREAT action director.

Let's hope he doesn't use Eve Ensler (Vagina Monologues Author)as a consultant for the remaining movies
