Could be more posturing, but I'm sure the Bulls are pretty conflicted. I think the best thing for the Bulls/Thibs is that they arrange some kind of buyout where they get out of most of the money in those last two years in exchange for just parting ways.
But I doubt he wants to do that. I think he'll just wait them out and make them fire him and pay him or he'll stay the coach.
