I "feel" that CM and his staff spent lots of time reviewing the odds given their understanding of the players' physical abilities. I haven't at all. I'll add that the number of times a runner gets gunned down at the plate isn't really the relevant number - what matters is how many scores do you get when you run on contact vs. not doing so.

along with "game context", ie the score, who's pitching, opponents fielding history, other runners on base, what inning it is, etc.
