just because you were talking about trolls doesn't mean your spoiler was about trolls. it's not that complicated.
now if you had said 'spoiler below is about trolls' then everyone would know. it seems like common sense to me, but maybe it's not?

I must just be an idiot because if I just mention the name of a quest or even a characters name I get destroyed about spoilers.
I'm just going to start putting ***SPOILERS*** in front of everything that has to do with anything specific to be safe.
