When I was breeding dogs I would use ivemectin or however it is spelled. This coupled with treating my yard worked great. I had inside and outside dogs and not one would have a problem with fleas. Very cheap. You can also buy the shots from online. My bet showed me the 7 in 1 he would use. It would come in a quantity of 25. I would still have the vet do the rabies though. shite, the shots I didn't use, I would charge people in the neighborhood a few dollars and do their dogs. This basically made my dogs shots free.

This is what my breeder used. She even showed me where to get it and how to administer the shots.
If you have multiple dogs, this would be the way to go.
