I'd eat it. But my bologna sandwich is fresh white Bunny Bread, Blue Plate mayo, bologna, lettuce, salt and pepper.
St Gabriel General Store has it for $1.65. Same sandwich with hogs head cheese same price.
Put an over easy egg on it and it's a sink sandwich because it will run down your forearms.
Also you can buy a whole bologna and roast it on the pit then slice and make sandwiches. Good stuff.

Typically I will tear up some bologna sandwiches. My uncle did that at the last family reunion and had it been thin slices I would have enjoyed it. But like the OP they were thick slices and I didn't care for it.
