I spent about as much time at the REC as I did any building on campus. These funds were raised specifically for this. I wouldn't want the school telling the AD how to spend their TAF funded money either

I don't mean to necessarily come off as we should steal the money from this account and put it towards the university. Just saying overall that it is a dumb decision.
YOU spent that much time at the rec. In my entire time at LSU, I spent maybe 5 hours there. It's not important to everyone. And you would have gotten on fine without it most likely. I'm not trying to take away from how nice it is to have, and I understand you can't take that money away since it was appropriated for that. I just think people should realize what's important in life. We can do things to make that LSU diploma much more impressive to employers and colleagues. Improving the Rec is not something that's going to help out with that.
