Bama got a mulligan after losing to LSU at home during the regular season and failing to win both the SEC and the SEC West. Instead of playing a conference championship game, they got to just sit at home and do nothing and advance to the National Title Game, because the polls favored them for biased

Not at all. Okie St. lost the week after we did. The polls were adjusted as you lost. Bama was number 2 the final 2 weeks of he season and never did anything to lose that spot.
Had the Big 12 had a championship game it more than likely would have given Okie St. the nod but they didnt. It bit them last year as well.
Still, okie st. could have been in the title game if not for the loss after we lost. We were second in the polls by a good margin after their loss to Iowa St.
Same thing happened to UF in 2009. If they based it on the best body of work we should have re-matched UF in the title game instead of Texas. UF's season had been much much better but the polls didnt work that way. Saw both UF and UT in person and Texas would have been beaten by 3 TD's by the Gators. There was no selection. If you were 1 or 2 in the polls you played for the title. During the season, If you lost, you dropped, just the way it worked. There was no way Okie st could have lost to ISU and not dropped.

Everything in here is inaccurate and ridiculous. First of all, Texas was an undefeated, 13-0 team. There is no way UF had a better body of work after going 12-1 and getting blasted in SEC Championship. Second of all, I don't believe that UF would have beaten Texas for sure. Texas was an excellent team that hung in tough against Bama despite losing Colt McCoy on the first drive and having to play a terrible freshman named Garrett Gilbert. I believe that Texas could very well have beaten Bama if McCoy hadn't been injured in the first drive. Bama struggled to stop him during the few plays that he was in. These situations are not at all comparable to the LSU Bama Okie State debacle in 2011.
