Why no NBA Playoffs tonight?

Just noticed that the Hawks and Warriors get a THREE NIGHT REST (don't play again til the 9th)
The Clippers vs Rockets and Cavs vs Bulls series never get more than a one day rest, unless of course it goes to 7 games. Then they are lucky to get a 2 days rest.
What the frick is this shite?

I love the NBA playoffs. But damn, their scheduling is terrible.

I think it's so ESPN can get the weekend games. Why didn't switch the game rotation I have no idea

They could not compete with big bang theory season finale

This thread is full of fail.. The finals began June 4th and cannot be changed. The 1st round ended earlier than expected so they had to adjust the schedule, thus making 1 day in the 2nd round with no games

They want the Cavs on Sunday.

The real answer:
Because they reserved this day in case either the Warriors/Grizzlies/Wizards/Hawks first round series went 7 games. If so, game 7 would have been played last Sunday, game 1 Tuesday, and game 2 today. But since neither of those series went 7, today is not needed to catch up. Instead, they started the series on Sunday. So in fact, they are avoiding longer layoffs by doing it this way.

Whoever schedules the NBA playoff schedules was drunk when they made them

They can't compete with the NHL

Refs needed a break for all the damn whistle blowing they did last night.

Shaq needs a day to recover from his near-death experience.

Thought there would be a game today, watching a very stupid movie on Netflix instead.
I'll catch up on my sleep though, those WC games end too damn late. I've had too much damn coffee this week at work
