re: Do you have a life event or regret you just can't get over? (long)

My brother in law was run over during the first Mardi Gras post Katrina. It happened as he and my sister were walking back home on Magazine Street. She unfortunately had to watch the whole thing. She got through everything with a mix of church, counseling and a just a good group of friends and family. It still haunts me around Mardi Gras, but having a stable of good people to talk to will alleviate some of the burdens. It does begin to get easier as time passes along, but will stay with you.
