Mine makes me Africa hot. I sweat all night. They aren't for everyone.

Agreed. It was too hot for me.

Tried the sleep number and it just sucked. Terrible sleep. Have a restonic and it's been decent.

We are in the market for a new one and I will have to check out the iComfort. I like the idea of a cooling gel. Is that a built in layer on top? Is it on both sides so you can flip it?

Not sure, I've added pillow tops and other shite, but they haven't helped. I'm going to ride this one out for a bit longer, but these mattresses can really suck with the heat issue. As far as my back, it loves this mattress. Not worth it, though, to me.

Go to an Ikea store and try their latex mattresses. I'm not suggesting that you buy one from them (that's up to you) but at least you'll be able to make a complete decision on the type of mattress you want.

I definitely suggest looking into one with cooling gel or the latex.

I got a memory foam about 3 years ago. I like it, it is somewhat firm, but a comfortable firm that I like and prefer to a softer mattress (best thing I have ever slept on for my back). My only complaint is it traps heat and gets too hot. I'm going to look into getting a new one when I get around to it in the next few months with cooling gel.
