Pretty certain the #MayPac PPV will wind up over 4 million and quite possibly 4.5 million

People are stupid.

They HAVE to be part of the "big event" because the media told them it was.

I haven't seen this much hype over boring, unimportant crap since the Royal Wedding.

I thoroughly enjoyed not paying for it. Watched it for free on first row sports. Wasn't in english, but me no care. They should have paid people to watch that boring arse fight.

Since I'm sure the proud non-watchers/non-buyers and people who thought the fight was extremely boring are in this thread (without having read it), I'll leave this quote I heard yesterday. Attributed to George Foreman.

Boxing is like jazz. The better it is, the less people appreciate it.

This shite is out of control on the MSB. People acting like they're the smartest, coolest people on the planet because they didn't watch the fight. Those of you who are doing it have no idea how lame you sound

I ended up buying the fight. Time Warner was having issues and the channel didn't work until about 10 minutes before the fight. I called yesterday and they refunded my account the $100. I add nothing to this thread. Just a CSB

You can't just multiply 4.5 million by $100 to get the PPV revenue.

Bars that show the fight don't pay $100 like a regular guy would to watch it at home.

They have to pay thousands of dollars to show the fight. A bar might have to pay $5,000 or $10,000 to show the fight. Could be even more for a bigger bar. Maybe $15,000 or more.
