You hit the nail on the head with a previous post, then you go off on a tangent.

Here is my question, if BRPD had anything on him, why would they reiterate that he is not a suspect? Wouldn't they simply say they will not comment on an ongoing investigation? Seems foolish to say he still isn't a suspect if there was ANY inkling of foul play on his part.

Yeah, I don't need to know this stuff THAT bad. I can just wait until something official comes out. Anything else is pretty much gossip.
It's no different than the "insiders" posting during the defensive coordinator search

Dude either spill what you know or don't say anything. Posting to an open forum in "I know something you don't know" fashion comes off incredibly childish. If you had no intention of giving up your source or the information, why post it at all.
It'd be like hypothetically if Brandon Harris failed a drug test and a somebody in the program told me about it. The I came here and posted, "Brandon Harris may have a situation. And no I won't tell you anymore." Either keep it to yourself or spill. Otherwise it comes off as incredibly attention whorish.

Seems rather silly to me when posters spread that they have info in a thread but refuse to give any details unless you email them.
I am not having people email to give them details.
I have ignored several emails because it's just people wanting info.
I have answered people that have asked direct questions regarding the situation.

He implied his source is someone affiliated with BRPD.

Maybe they should look at Absolute.

absolute isn't a suspect man.

It may be. But if you aren't intending on telling whats going on, why post at all?

How is it smart to say someone is not a suspect if they are in fact a suspect? Never have I heard of authorities doing this, never. They will say no comment, but not reiterate someone's innocence.

Please ban this idiot. It's gone too far.

quote:They haven't done either... "He is not a suspect at this time" isn't definitive at all. And that's the point. I've posted 3 times now that police departments don't call out suspects anymore if they don't have to. For a multitude of reasons.

Agreed. You always get the "it's an ongoing investigation" line. Never, he is not a suspect.

Have the police officially stated he isnt a suspect?

I did not.
But obviously someone within the BRPD provided this information to the source. Or it is completely fabricated.
