Does anyone play iRacing?

Was thinking about buying it, because I love racing games and this is the best sim out there, but this can get to be expensive. Just a good steering wheel is $200 plus.

i do, it is expensive but the type of racing you get can't be found anywhere else.

a good steering wheel
is the only thing preventing me from playing NR2003 again. Broke my ancient one about 8 years ago when Jeff Gordon put me in the wall at Homestead.

Ive been a subscriber to iRacing since 2012. Getting a good wheel and having to pay per car and track can seem like a negative when you first look into it. Over time though, it has been the best sim racing experience I've had with any online game ever. Working your way up through the license tiers with safety ratings can get frustrating when you're involved in an incident without being at fault and still suffer a loss in safety rating , but it's part of learning the game and how to race clean.

Huh, I had never heard of this and looked for some comparisons to GT. It seems that iRacing is heavily focused on properly physics and online play with a narrow scope. Doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles (or a lot of cars), but it's the most realistic.
