Tony Stark's character is getting ruined, IMO. He's basically turned into a whiny baby trying to get out of being a superhero. He talks to Banner for about 60 seconds and they decide to create Ultron. There’s no weighing his options. He wants to bypass all of the paperwork and create this being that could easily destroy all of the Avengers. They have no idea how this AI will react and yet they make the same mistake that has been done in movies a hundred times. All because they want to go to the beach? Really? Man up Stark.

I assume they are starting to kill off Tony Stark bc Robert Downing Jr. is going to be done playing the character soon.

Also, they have made him slightly depressed and fearful but that started in Iron Man 3. It isn't something new.

And he started experimenting to make Ultron because he knew he could only do it with the help of the staff and they were only allowed 3 days with it. It was either now or never, and after Scarlet Witch showed him visions of alien attacks and everyone dead he believed he had to do it now or the world would end.

And lastly.. He didn't actually create Ultron. They were starting to experiment with it and run programs to see how they could make it work. When they left and went to the party the soul gem created ultron itself and killed Jarvis (or so we thought).

Anyways.. I thought it was a good movie also and lots of action and random humor. I do agree that they jumped around a lot though.

Like during the last fight they make it seem like Vision is going to be the most powerful thing ever and nothing can stop him and then Ultron just randomly throws him down and knocks him out for like 5 minutes..

Ultron randomly disappears during the fights and they don't really show what he is doing.

Also Thor's whole disappearance and getting the old scientist guy was pointless unless they are trying to integrate him into the whole avengers science team (which he was apart of at the end). He literally just flys with him to that secret cave with the "mystical waters to help one recall dreams". And that's his only purpose.

Then they don't show us what Thor sees from the dream thats important. Just someone telling him "OMG EVERYONE WILL DIE!!!" and then he flys back super shocks the cradle which is creating Vision. Of course normally you would think that would destroy whatever he is hitting but I guess he knew it would actually finish the last uploading and creation of Vision.. Then he says some stuff about how "The soul gem is evil and will wreck chaos. So let's make it this thing and hope it picks our side!".

There are quite a few unexplained and jumpy parts like that. But after saying all that. I really don't care
It was a fun ride and very enjoyable.

Just got out of the movie. It was OK. I remember Ultron and scarlet witch being way more bad arse than that in the comics. And is Thanos going to have to kill Vision to complete the gauntlet. It would seem so. It was good for what it was.

In Thors vision you see the infinity stones and he realizes what's coming. He says that it is odd that they're appearing out of blue in the past years. That's why brings vision to life, because vision will protect the soul gem, being that it's his life source.

OK. Tony started the process in building Ultron. It was his intention to finish the process. Whether he finished it himself or not, that was his intention.

he believed he had to do it now or the world would end.
So instead he almost causes the world to end himself? The Tony Stark I remember is smarter than that.

Those jumpy parts are editing problems.

The Blu-ray release is going to have The over 3 hours original directors cut with the alternate ending that isn't a happy ending.

I'm stupid excited about that.

The doctor knew where Thor needed to go.

The vision was of the infinity gems. (these have been a central story now for the last couple of movies)
