Just wanted to update the thread and let yall know I tried out the xds 9, shield, lc9s pro and sig p938. I was torn between the shield and the lc9s pro but I ended up going with the Ruger. The lc9s pro has a nice trigger out of the box and was noticeably lighter than the other guns. I ran about 150 rounds through it with no jams or misfires. I was surprised at how accurate I shot with it considering how small it is. If anyone is in the market for a cc gun, you cant go wrong with the shield or the lc9s pro. Thanks again to everyone for the suggestions.

Good to hear you made a quality choice! I hated that the original LC9 had a bad DAO trigger and a mag disconnect safety. But since the addition of the striker-Pro, it seems they listened to their customers and made a quality gun. Ruger is very good about listening to their loyal customers.
