So glad he's almost done with baseball. His attempts to anticipate calls are aggravating as hell. Especially since he often gets it wrong.

Loved him ever since I was old enough to understand sports but I completely agree. And it's not just baseball--in a football game whenever he says, "there's nobody gonna catch him!" somebody gonna catch him about 75% of the time.

this has been my main issue with him and I'm old enough to have listen to him is entire career with the Tigers...

Will never understand the hate on JH, I mean the man is a tiger thru and thru, thousands of memories threw the radio listening to him when the games weren't on tv. You know when you found the station the tigers were playing on cause of his voice, I for one will miss his voice and the love he had for the tigers. I just hope the next voice will devote the time and passion that he has threw the years.

People don't like him for football have clearly never listened for baseball
