the impressive thing to me about his Olympic training was that it was before corporate sponsorship was allowed, he was broke as frick and training more or less on his on, wife was making $900/mo. which wasn't poverty level money back then but not extravagant either, he was a stud, he was drafted by an NBA team after the Olympics and I'm not sure he ever played much basketball

So, the physical attributes and gifts that was given to him is what made him so accomplished; however, now, we are supposed to respect and maveral over the fact that he has chosen to destroy that physic and identity? It appears everyone has lost sight of basic decency. Bruce Jenner may think he is a female, but DNA says otherwise. The only way this foolishness ceases is if people realize that we have an obligation to speak up and call-out someone when they are wrong. Today, we are too weak or selfish to worry or be concerned for other people - even if what they do negatively effects everyone.
