Don't see that being a problem with Donte

me either. Can't wait to see what we missed out on with Adoree. I mean damn, they are so similar it's ridiculous! Looking at Gage, I think it's only a matter of time during the fall, that Jackson gets the spot behind White.

Wow anyone else notice david ducre got 6th in the 100m championship donte ran the 10.42 last year?

Ran at 10.95, assuming he was at least 220+ if not heavier at that point. I had no idea the big man had wheels like that.

I seriously think he's gonna make the biggest impact of all the freshman next season. He dominated the army game and practices and I can see him playing that dime or nickel role and being a force by the end of the season. And yes he should be returning kickoffs and punts.

After seeing Trey Quinn field kickoffs at the Spring game, my first thought was he's only holding it down until Jackson gets there.

Maybe, who knows. Hopefully there will be an opportunity for competition, as Quinn, LF, Travin, and DJ all have speed that is 10.65 or better too. There is more to things than just straight line speed, especially for incoming freshman.

Donte IS a talent! No doubt!

I'm guessing that since he's doing track that he hasn't been able to put on much weight. That's my only concern with him. If he comes in at 165 he's gonna get busted up trying to play offense.

Ducre is a freak of nature. It's crazy we don't talk about him more. He's going to be 260 lb fullback with legit tailback speed.

THAT is the double edged sword! If he gets up to 185 or so, it gets hard for guys like him with his build, in pads, to keep their track speed. But it can be done!

Wasn't Trindon in the 10.02 range?

Trindon was 10.00 flat and is the fastest CFB player ever. Many people have beat his time in the 100m but they did not play CFB. See page 28 in the 2013 LSU Track and Field media guide.

Miles also said this about PP7, but that didn't happen.

Because Peterson cramped up so much.

Don't forget the jet sweeps. Imagine Jackson or Tyron Johnson on those jet sweeps like we saw against Texas A&M.
