The teeth are pretty bad too. It really looks like one of the Joker gang from Batman Beyond more than anything. More like a Juggalo than the Joker with those teeth and tats. But like you said, after all the backlash they'll probably get I'm sure much will change.
Hopefully they do him well, I'm really looking forward to a Suicide Squad movie.

I mean, the teeth are probably from having his real ones all punched out by Batman.
The Batman from Batman vs. Superman is along the Death in the Family storyline, no? If so, he obviously has a long history with the joker. Makes sense that Suicide Squad would respect that.
