Where did you see that? Not doubting, just curious.

I don't know if Asik gets much more than ~11M/year, if that. At that price, they should bring him back.

It's an odd thing; they need a legit 5 for the regular season and can survive/thrive despite Asik's flaws, but almost everyone goes small in the playoffs. Asik won't be more than a rotation player in most series. Davis will be the "5" in the playoffs. They need to finally invest in wing players. Very hard to matchup appropriately without flexible wings.

From an exchange with MM this morning.

By the way, you can stop wondering if your team might be able to get Draymond with a max offer. You can't. GSW is not letting him go.

Michael McNamara @McNamara247

@ZachLowe_NBA Add Kawhi, Butler, and Middleton to this list so fans of SF starved teams don't get their hopes up

@McNamara247 I don't think it applies to MIddleton, necessarily. And you never know with the Bulls, though I'd be shocked if JB left

Yeah, how long before AD gets more comfortable at the 5? All the historic stats he's dropping compare him to centers, not PFs. I think years might be more important than money, I'd take Asik at 3/$33 over 4/$40.
