I still say Nuke the area and in 50 years go in and set up shop for the oil.
If the objective was to set up shop today for the oil, preserve the Petro Dollar, extract leaders who refused to bow to the Fascist international banking cabal, control trillions in untapped and billions in existing natural resources, and install leaders who will act as your puppet, you would be there for 14-plus years and do exactly what's currently being done in that region.

If you think whoever we install as a puppet has any control over the populous and army you are again wrong. Just look at Mosul and the Iraq army. Religious political parties run everything in those countries. There will never be a cohesive situation.
