My sister has a Great Pyrenees that is just over a year old. Went into labor at 7 am and is still going. 13 are out and there is at least 1 more in her. All 13 that are out are in good health. I have never seen a dog have so many. Nor heard it in the first litter. Anyone else have a dog that birthed this many pups? Were they all this healthy?

Seems like it would been have crammed in there....

kind of odd that she is white, but most all of the pups are black...do they change color?

that momma has had a hell of a day...better be nice to her...

I have a Boerboel from South Africa and he was part of his mother's first litter. She had 17 puppies and all of them survived. Pretty amazing.

Young for breeding. Not an uncommon litter size.

What's the dad? Anatolian?
